These bugs look white and hairy, They enjoy warm temperatures and don’t tolerate the cold. They have even been known to grow and spread even on a drying plant after Harvest! Like aphids and barnacles, mealybugs produce a sweet liquid known as honeydew which can cause sooty mold to grow on the leaves as well as attract other bugs!
Solutions
Remove affected leaves if you can
rinse and wash with insecticidal soap!
