Making Oil
neutral oil like canola, grapeseed, or vegetable oil is most versatile as you can use it most any recipe calling for oil. For additional flavor elements, olive oil is a great choice. You can even infuse solid at room temperature fats like coconut oil or vegetable shortening. Use whatever works best for what you are planning to cook with it. you can cook with any kind of cannabis material from trimmings to flowers. You will need to adjust the amount used depending on the potency of the plant and what parts of it you are using. the goal of this is to extract the terps wothout destroying their content.
Happy's Receipt
the best way to make oil i feel is with a slow cooker/crook-pot and a temperature of 180-220F stirring it occasionally as the plant matter will fall. i recommend doing this for a time period of atleast 6 hours but i personally prefer starting it at night a few hours (4-6) before bed then allowing it to sit over night on a very low temp of 100F until i wake. and even then i may boost the temps back up to around 160 coking for a dew more hours. some may say this is a bit overkill but hey this is why they are recipEs! once slow cooked for a minimal of 6 hour you are now ready to use cheese cloth to strain your canna-oil, i like to find a funnel and to strain right back into its original container. at this point you are now ready to whip up sometime tasty with your canna-infused oil! careful as this is a very strong receipt!

Use a coffee grinder to get the best powdery marijuana. Usually you can fit about 7 grams in these little grinders at a time and they do a very good job of giving you a fine powder.
-
Start by putting the oil in a sauce pan and turn up to medium. Do not let the oil reach the boiling point but once it has heated up, you can add in the marijuana powder.
-
Let the oil simmer, never letting it boil and constantly stirring. If you see bubbles begin to form in the oil, turn down the heat and remove the mixture from the burner until it cools off a bit. By boiling the mixture, too much THC would be released and you wouldn’t get the desired effect from your oil.
-
Continue this for about an hour, possibly two if you have the time.
-
Strain your oil through cheesecloth in to a container that you can cap. Be careful to let the oil cool off a bit, as it’ll be extremely hot right off the stove. Also make sure to squeeze the cheesecloth to make sure that you get all of the oil out of it.

You now have your marijuana-infused cannabis oil!
